Ten dead as ‘water bomb’ storm hits central Italy

It’s heartbreaking and shocking to know that more than 10 people were killed in the catastrophic storms that swept through central Italy. Another four are currently missing. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who suffered loss of loved ones, and for all people affected by this tragic events. The storms that have hit us are a stark reminder of the necessity to tackle the issue of climate change. It is heartbreaking to see the destruction. With elections just close at hand, I hope that this problem will receive the seriousness needed and significant progress will be made to address this issue.
