It is an honor for Cuba to be the first nation to put forward an amendment to the Family Code to popular consultation and referendum. The process is testimony that we are committed to making sure that every voice is heard and everyone gets an opportunity to voice their opinion in the laws that govern our society. This Code is supposed to enhance families and protect all citizens’ rights. We invite everyone to be involved in the referendum and to have their voices heard.
